Dear Alex and Ally,

We arrived at our apartment late yesterday. 

Compared with the European trip, this one is short although the luggages are much heavier. 

The apartment still looks nice, but inspired by our Pasadena experience, we will definitely remodel it. 

In particular, the bar needs to be renovated.  So far the upmost task is to fix the leaks. 

Alex have been in my apartment, and he knows it is modest in size, and good in accessing a lot of

impoartant facilities in Taipei: eslite, 101, parks, and of course restaurants.

We would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us in the last 180 days. 

It was such a unique and profound experience, the resarch, restaurants, journeys in and out of California, coffee..and, most importantly, life style.  It is a big PARTY with everything, and on the last day before we left,

I thought no matter how good it is, there is a day it would be over. 

We can't think of any other parties in our life that can be anywehre close to this one. 

It is you two who made this one the most sepcial.

While we are winding down from the trip, unpacking and settling, my notebook is crunching numbers. 

Lets get back to this later.  Now, in this drizzling morning, having finished the breakfast at "MOS,"

we briefly discussed optins for other meals today.  Well, this is the first day for a restarted life.

We decided to take it easy...

See you at Montpellier and Taipei, this year.

Dear Ban and Clio,

     Glad to know that you are safely home. I believe it's the first time in 180 days

you can finally have a shower :) at home. Hopefully the unpacking wasn't too hard.

I guess you are now in your office at "east Caltech" .

Wish your visa application is as smooth as possible.

     We are grateful about your stay here in Pasadena for the last 180 days and

certainly we both miss your presence here at Caltech.

I walked to my office yesterday and saw the TO apartment without Ban and Clio.

I guess it will never be the same. Ally and I went to Farmer's Market today to check out

a nice restaurant and thought it is a pity that you two can not be here.

      The things I will remember the most are probably the experiences such as chasing

the flight on our way to Vienna and etc. Althought it might not be the most graceful but

it cuts deepest. Of course, we can't forget the long chats, Ban's coffee section and Clio's

great cookings :) (Ally's highlight!!). Pasadena is indeed a great place and it's probably

the only place I will live in southern California (definitely not Pico Blvd :) ).

We are certainly looking forward to seeing you again later this year.
Hopefully, Ally and I would get a chance to visit your renovated apartment soon.

Babe today is our 1^st anniversary!!!

I never think of announcing our relationship on public because it’s really personal issue to me.

But today, on May 17, our 1^st anniversary, I would like to tell you and everyone that how much I love you;

how lucky I am and, how much I cherish our relationship.

I really feel happy after dating with you; all is this natural thing to us.

Being with you let me know that there is nothing impossible,

I could be a better person;

I could try to practice my dreams;

I could have more time to do what I really want to do;

to enjoy my life; to travel more countries; to experience more cultures;

to know how much and how important that love could change a person…

Many old friends can tell how dramatic change on me this year.

Now I became much more positive toward my life;

I would like to spend more time to take care the ones I love and care;

I would like to believe that I do have unlimited potential to make my many little dreams come true;

to learn many interesting things such as cooking and drawing,

to see what I can improve and achieve day by day.

Traveling more countries made me want to be more humble toward people.

After experiencing more different cultures, now I try to understand how big the world exactly it is and,

how isolated thinking I was. We are really lucky to having each other, to love each other that much,

thus we can also share our love, our friendships and some little money to support our sponsor son,

Jose in Colombia; and the ones who love and care us as well,

and then to get more warm feedback from them.

I want to say thank you, you, and all my family and friends.

It’s YOU give me so much support when I feel weak.

People are weak, I need your love and support all the time,

and I do wish you all to cherish what you have right now;

enjoy the every little moments;

dare to dream that we will become better;

because we do have quite enough, no matter in material or spiritual side.

Babe today is our anniversary, and I love you so much.

Remember it’s our first year and there would have many years to come….

Just like our love 。
